Grove Cottage

Grove Cottage is the former home of Robert Barry Dickey, born in Amherst Nova Scotia, and one of the Four Fathers of Confederation. Built in 1840, the home is listed on the Canadian Heritage Register of Historic Places. While it has been expanded upon and modified for more modern use, Grove Cottage has maintained several character-defining elements of its original design including its classical entrance, original stone foundation, and fireplaces.
